SDPN head: Israel, common enemy; Palestine, cause of unity among Iranians

Secretary General of the NGO of Union in Support of the Palestinian Rights described Zionist regime as common enemy and Palestine as cause of national unity among IRI political parties.

On the eve of world Quds Day, daughter to the late Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Zahra Mostafavi told Qodsna that the Palestinian issue in IRI is a pivot around which all IRI's parties revolve.

It seems that Palestine is the best flag that unites all IRI internal parties, she said.

Head of the Society for Defending the Palestinian Nation (SDPN) underlined the importance and position of Quds in Islam, adding “Quds is the third holiest city and first Qiblah of Islamic Ummah.”

Imam Khomeini's initiative of World Quds Day designated for solidarity with Palestinians and opposing Zionist usurper regime is not merely a single day for rallies of Islamic Ummah against Zionist aggressions, she said.

Designation of World Quds day by late Imam Khomeini boosted the desire of innocent nations and encouraged them for resistance against arrogant, Mostafavi added.

After three decades of designation of World Quds Day, now we are seeing that the related protests are welcomed more and more not only by Muslims but also by all freedom seekers in the world, head of SDPN said.
