IRI lawmaker: Hezbollah shined at political arenas of Islamic world

An IRI lawmaker said Lebanese Islamic Resistance Movement, Hezbollah has been more flourished and effulgent than 2000 at political arenas of Islamic world.

On the anniversary Zionist regime's withdrawal from southern Lebanon on 2000, Kazem Jalali, Rapporteur of Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission told Qodsna that it was Lebanese resistance group which forced occupation forces to pull back from most of the occupied territories of Lebanon.

Jalali said Hezbollah fighters by resistance against Zionist occupiers and carrying out martyrdom seeking operations reduced Zionist regime's power.

He said that Zionist regime in a bid to undermine resistance movements launched the 33-day war in 2006 summer.

Thousands of Lebanese marked Resistance and Liberation Day Monday.
