Abu Osama calls for massive turnout in World Quds Day

On the eve of World Qods Day, Hamas envoy to Tehran Abu Osama Abdul Moti said the late Imam Khomeini was a great man who always even before the victory of Islamic Revolution paid attention to Muslims and the Palestinian issue.

He urged the unity of the Islamic nation in support of Al-Quds and the need to end occupiers’ presence in Palestine.

Imam was a great leader that had a sympathetic sense to the Palestinian people namely in calling upon the Iranian people to pay tithes and one fifth of their income to Palestinian resistance factions, Abu Osama told Qodsna.

“After the Islamic revolution, Imam Khomeini continued support to Palestinian people and designated world Quds Day.”

Imam Khomeini encouraged the Islamic nation to defend Al-Aqsa mosque, Al-Quds and Palestinian people, Hamas envoy said.

Abu Osama called on all Arab and Islamic peoples to make a massive turnout in World Quds Day.
