IRNA chief: Imam Khomeini kept alive the cause for liberation of Quds

IRNA managing director told Qodsna that Imam Khomeini kept alive the cause of liberation of Quds forever.

Mohammad Jafar Behdad said Imam’s emphasis on the necessity of liberation of Palestine from the claws of Zionist regime put an stop to the political and geographical growth of Zionist regime in the occupied Palestine and prevented it from reaching its goals.

By designating the World Quds Day, Imam Khomeini dealt a blow to Zionist regime, he said.

Despite sanctions and restrictions imposed on the Iranian people, they (Iranians) still stand beside Palestinians and support resistance against Zionist regime’s occupation, Behdad praised.

He said the future of region is in favor of resistance.
