Ayatollah Khamenei urges a global peace campaign against Zionist war mongers: advisor to President Ahmadinejad

Advisor to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in press affairs described the Monday statement of Ayatollah Khamenei concerning the malicious conspiracy of Koran burning as a global call for peace against the war mongering policies of the arrogance and Zionism.

Mohammad Ali Ramin told a presser Wednesday that media corps must pay more attention to the incident and expose the conspiracy.

Ramin noted that the statement thwarted a breakout of war between Muslims and Christians.
 
He called the conspiracy as a loop in the chain of Zionist insults to monotheistic religions.

Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei issued a statement Monday warning against a plot chatched during the conspiracy against Islam and Christianity.

"The purpose of the recent disgusting action is on the one hand to extend opposition against Islam and Muslims to all levels of Christian communities, to put a religious façade on such opposition, and to gain support from religious biases and concerns through the use of churches and priests. On the other hand, they intend to divert the attention of Muslim nations from the issues and developments of the Muslim world and the Middle East by causing them to be enraged and offended by this great offence," the statement said.
