Syrian advisor: Israel faced with existential crisis

 

A former advisor to late Syrian president Hafez Al-Asad describes the latest Zionist regime’s threats against the region as a outcome of its fear about future.

 

George Jabbour told Qodsna reporter on the sidelines of the conference in defense of resistance in Beirut that internal political campaign and existential crisis have prompted the Zionist regime to threaten the nations in the Middle East.

 

Israelis now feel that they have no place in the furture of the region, Jabbour added.

 

He downplayed the possibility of any U.S. or Israeli military attack against Iran, saying “they (U.S. and Zionist regime) have taken Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy as an excuse”.

 

He also said Zionist regime suffers from internal conflicts.

 

An international conference began work in Beirut in on Friday in support of the strategy of resistance in the presence of personalities from the four continents.

 

An Iranian delegation has taken part in the conference, comprised of expert in ME affairs, Mohammad-Ali Mohtadi, political analyst, Hussein Rooyvaran, and several other ME experts including Hussein Kanani Moqaddam, Mohammad-Sadeq Kooshki, Hamid-Reza Taraqqi, Forouz Rajayifar, Ahmad Soroushnejad, and Habibzadeh.

 

They delivered speeches to the conference on the inter-relation of strategy of resistance and the US projects in the Middle East. The Palestinian rights will also be addressed in the Iranian lectures.
