Mohtashemi-Pour: Those who chanted "No Gaza, No Lebanon" slogan are betrayers
Secretary-general of the Iranian International Committee for the Support of the Palestinian Intifada described Palestinian issue as common issue of all Iranian political parties and termed those who chanted "No Gaza, No Lebanon" slogan as treacherous to the country.
On the 19th January day named by IRI parliament as "Gaza, Symbol of resistance" and simultaneous with the first anniversary of Zionist regime’s 22-day war on Gaza, Ali Akbar Mohtashemi-Pour, one of Iran’s opposition official who headed an electoral supervisory committee for the defeated Iranian presidential candidate Mousavi, condemned such slogans as "No Gaza, No Lebanon" chanted by a few people in Iran after presidential elections.
He described such slogans as “deviational” and hailed the resistance of Palestinian groups against Zionist regime and west during the 22-day
“Not only Iranian people but all freedom seekers in the world oppose oppression and always support innocent people” he said, adding “As we saw in Gaza war, all nations in the world including Muslims, Christians, Zoroastrian and even Jews condemnd Israel.”
