IRI presidential aide: IRI supports Palestine in principle

Aide to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the Islamic Revolution is distinctly characterized by the fight against imperialism.

Iraj Nadimi told Qodsna that the Islamic Republic has an agenda of defending the oppressed in the world and defending the Muslims in the region and that IRI stance towards the Palestinian issue is inspired by the same agenda.

The aide noted that Iran in fulfilling the responsibility never distinguishes between this part or that part of the world, looking to all corners equally.

Nadimi also noted that the Iranian stance towards the Palestinian issue was also inspire by the idea that the developments in Lebanon and Palestine was a plot to dominate the Muslims.
