Swedish author: Aftonbladet report, only part of the truths
Donald Bostrom: Aftonbladet report part of truth for expressing Palestinian families’ concerns.
Swedish author defended his article on local daily ‘Aftonbladet’ in which he accused Zionist regime’s army troops of harvesting Palestinian Organs.
In an interview with Qodsna, the Swedish journalist said he published the report to express some degrees of Palestinian families’ concerns.
He wrote at the leading Swedish daily Aftonbladet that Zionist regime’s army troops killed Palestinians in order to trade in their organs.
Donald Bostrom told Qodsna ‘I had interviewed some Palestinian families and they said the organs of their sons were stolen by Israeli army after they were kidnapped and killed.
He said that the article was not anti-Semitic, but it was his observations and interviews with some Palestinian families and mothers. “The article seeks to find truth about violations carried out against Palestinians”.
It was responsibility of all freedom seeking journalists to report based on international law to investigate and find truth about violations and aggressions in every conflict and war zone, Bostrom said, adding "if the army violates the law, the journalists must reveal the crimes in order to stop it.”
Freedom of speech is an indispensable part of my society so I as a free journalist who was under pressure, published the report, he noted.
He said he received some death threat emails and letters that seemed to have been sent by Israelis.
If every free journalist stops its activity due to being under pressure, then it will be the “death of democracy” and “death of freedom of speech”.
Pointing to Zionist regime’s siege on Gaza strip, the Swedish journalist describexd it as ‘extreme violation of human rights and international law’.
