Bahraini deputy speaker: World Free of Nuclear Weapons must begin with Israel and U.S.

Dr. Salah Ali Abdulrahman, Second Deputy-Speaker of the Council of. Representatives of Bahrain said his country supports Iran's right to peaceful nuclear energy, calling for disarmament of U.S. and Zionist regime.

Talking to Qodsna on the sideline of The Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) meeting of permanent committee on political affairs, he described investigating situations in regional countries including Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq as well as increasing friendship and cooperation between all Asian countries and also considering the ways we can act against international terrorism and nuclear disarmament as the agenda of the summit which opened here in Tehran on Wednesday for three days.

Final resolution will be discussed on the annual conference which will take place at the end of this year in Damascus, Syria, he noted.

'Western powers that are increasing their pressures on most of the countries that are developing their own nuclear energy, are already have own nuclear weapons in which the U.S is at the top of them.', Abdulrahman said.

America is the biggest country that has nuclear weapons so if we want to apply justice in whole world, we should ask for nuclear disarmament.

In order to have Nuclear Free World, the U.S. and Israel that possessed nuclear warheads should be disarmed.

It is the right of each country to achieve nuclear energy for peace purposes, he said, adding I think Islamic Republic of Iran has their own right to access nuclear energy.

"We support Iran's right to peaceful nuclear energy", he added.

Pointing to restarting of proximity talks between Palestinian Authority and Zionist regime, deputy speaker said he is not satisfied by such negotiations, describing it as 'unfair'.

The weak part of this talk is Palestine but Israeli regime which is supported by U.S. had its own power, he said.

Palestinians need full support in conflicting Zionist regime, Abdul-Rahman said.

We the members of APA will announce our support from Palestine and in against Israeli regime in the final resolution, he added.

Parliamentary delegations from Russia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, Turkey, India, Bangladesh, Maldives, Indonesia, Cambodia, Kuwait, Iraq, Palestine and Iran will attend the APA sessions held in the Iranian capital.
