Iran, most sympathetic country which seeks real peace - Pakistani Senator

A prominent Pakistani politician described Islamic Republic of Iran as the only powerful country that plays a very calculated and sensitive role in the region.

Syed Zafar Ali Shah is a prominent politician of Pakistan and is associated with the Pakistan Peoples Party. Currently he is a Member of the National Assembly, winning in the 2008 general elections, from his constituency in Sindh.

"Iran has always tried to bring justice in the region," he added.

The politician noted that with the Israeli regime possessing nuclear and chemical weapons, Islamic countries must try to disarm it.

Ali Shah also described negotiation as best way to prevent a war.

Pointing to current negotiations between Palestinian Authority and Zionist regime, he said Israel never intends a real peace and is not an honest party in the negotiation. 

“Israel’s intention for continuing of  settlement building proves that it doesn’t want peace in the region,” he added.
