Russian MP: Israel must stop settlement building

Member of Federal Assembly of the Russian Parliament calls for halting Zionist settlement’s construction in Palestinian territories and liberation of 1967 Palestinian occupied territories.

Rudrik G. Iskuzhin, member of the council of Federation told Qodsna that Russia will take every measure to restore Arab and Israeli peaceful progress on the basis of UN resolutions and Arab peace plan.

He was speaking to Qudsna on the sidelines of an APA (Asian Parliamentary Assembly) session in Tehran Thursday.

Russia support establishment of the Palestinian state, he said, adding Moscow actively cooperating in this regard.

“Continue of settlement building will danger peace process”.

He also noted that there are many difficulties on the path of peace process. 
“Middle East is on the verge of explosion and catastrophe.” Russian Federation member said.
