Indonesian MP: Israel must sign NPT

In order to have a nuclear free Middle East, Israeli regime must sign nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), an Indonesian official said.

The Member of the Consultative Assembly and House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia said that not only Middle East but also whole world should be free of nuclear weapons.

Abdul Rahman Abdullah was speaking to Qudsna on the sidelines of an APA (Asian Parliamentary Assembly) session in Tehran Friday.

He said APA conference stressed the necessity of Israel joining NPT.
