More int'l pressure needed to force Israel to join NPT- Lebanese MP

Lebanese MP Walid Najib El-Khoury told Qodsna that more international pressure was need to force Israel to join nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

He was speaking to Qudsna on the sidelines of an APA (Asian Parliamentary Assembly) session in Tehran Friday.

Israel has always denied it possessed nuclear weapons but every one knows that the regime possessed many nuclear warheads, the MP said.

He called the Zionist claims that Syria supplied Hezbollah with Scud missiles a ‘big lie’ and described it a cover-up to justify its aggressions.

‘Israel always made lies before any aggressions to cover its crimes’, he said.

He also warns against any Zionist regime’s new aggressions on Lebanon, adding the aggressions may lead to a big war not only in Lebanon but also in the whole middle East.
