Hamas: Abbas must reveal truths of talks

A senior Hamas leader denounced the leaked PA move in giving concessions to Israel as a large political scandal, adding that the issue also proved Hamas claims that the PA had taken an otherwise track.

Salah Bardawil made the remarks in an interview with Qudsna following revelations in al-Jazeera that PA head Mahmoud Abbas had made a slew of concessions to Israel, including an offer over the central issue of al-Quds.

Bardawil said Mahmoud Abbas concessions were natural in light of his stature and mood, adding that Mahmoud Abbas by nature readily relinquishes the rights of Palestinian refugees and any other rights of the Palestinian nation.

Bardawil noted that following the revelations, silence is no longer relevant and the compromisers should divulge the truths of talks with Israel and abrogate any humiliating deals with the Zionist regime.

“No one is allowed to relinquish the Palestinian rights,” he said, adding that the Palestinian land is an inalienable right.
