Woman MP: confronting Zionist regime priority of IRI’s Foreign Policy

Member of IRI Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Zohreh Elahian said to confront with Zionist regime was priority of Iran’s foreign policy.

Speaking to Qodsna, she termed Zionist regime as the biggest danger in Middle East region, adding, as ‘IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei has said during his latest trip to Iran, this is not Iran’s nuclear technology that threatens the region rather it is the Israeli regime which threatens the region.’

“Such remarks by UN officials show the degrees of concerns of world community and public opinion over Zionist regime’s atomic activities,” she added.

However world community has a tendency toward western countries but the depth of Zionist regime’s crimes against Palestinians is so warning that no international organizations including Human Rights Watch, Human Right Council, and UN General Assembly could be silent against them, Elahian said.

Pointing to slogans like “No Gaza, No Lebanon” cried by some in Iran after presidential elections, the lawmaker said ‘such slogans don’t have any place at the hearts of Iranian people because most of them consider fight against Zionist regime as priority.
