Sheikhol-eslam: Islamic Revolution inspired regional uprisings
A senior Iranian pro-Palestinian activist was approved of the idea that the regional uprisings were inspired by the Islamic Revolution of Iran, saying that the revolution was modeled by the regional nations in their chanting of the slogan of independence and freedom.
Hussein Sheikhol-eslam, director of parliamentary secretariat in defense of the Palestinian intifada was speaking to Qudsna.
Shikhol-eslam said the west has made a gauge of loyalty out of the Zionist regime and assessed all Arab regimes by the levels of their loyalty and support to the regime, prompting their people to rise up against the western humiliating treatment.
The Iranian personality then touched on the political developments in Egypt and said the Mubarak-era situation will never be restored. He said the US incurred a hefty cost in imposing the Mubarak era ties with Israel on the Egyptian people and the remnants of the Mubarak regime are trying to keep the relations in place.
