(9) Indian thinker: Islamic awakening in the region, fruit of Imam Khomeini's thoughts

A former member of the Indian cabinet called Imam Khomeini as model leader in the world who shaped up the ongoing Islamic awakening in the region.

A'ref Muhammad-Khan told Qudsna on the sidelines of a conference on Islamic awakening in Tehran Tuesday that the current popular uprisings are against dictatorship and that Imam Khomeini started his movement against dictators.

He said Imam Khomeini successfully got his goals and could direct the Iranian nation against the then dictators.
