Senior MP: An IRI mission in Gaza instrumental to Palestinian issue

A member of the Iranian parliamentary committee on cultural affairs told Qudsna that establishment of an Iranian diplomatic mission in Gaza would be a positive move in promotion of the rights of the innocent Palestinian people.

Hamid Rasayi said the Palestinian issue had an exceptional position in the Iranian foreign policy, adding that Iran always considers the Hamas government as legitimate Palestinian government unlike many other countries which refused to follow the suit.

The lawmaker added that even if such a mission could not be established at the current conditions, it would not be too far to see such a mission in Gaza.
