Major Russian research: US, patriarch of double standard

Rajab Safarov, head of Iran Studies Center in Russia said the Zionist regime is the only nuclear-armed entity which always threatens the world with an attack.

Safarov was speaking to Qodsna on the sidelines of a conference on Disarmament in Tehran Sunday.

“Israel acts as a mechanism of pressure in hand of the US in Middle East. The western countries actually created the regime to stir tensions in the Middle East,” he added.

He noted that the regime could not continue to live even for one single day if the US and its allies stop their support to the regime. “Every one knows that he regime gained access to nuclear weapons through the assistance of America,” he added.

Safarov considered Israel as a reserved prince for the US, adding that the US never abandons its support to the regime.

He went on to say that the US and Britain are patriarch of double standard policies in the world and in their confrontation with Iran they strove to unite the world against the country.

“However they have realized that no pressure could deal a blow to the Iranian system” as it enjoys a popular support, he added.
