Syrian FM: Israeli N-warheads, a threat to ME

Syrian Foreign Minister said no peace would develop in Middle East in absence of Iran or Syria.

Walid Muallem was speaking to Qodsna on the sidelines of a conference on Disarmament in Tehran Sunday.

He said the Israeli nuclear warheads were a peril for the Middle East, adding that the US double standard against the case of Israeli warheads could not be ignored.

He said Syria would join any nuclear disarmament effort, adding that the world community must strive to force Israel into signing to the treaty.
