Envoy: IRI ready to pay costs of any inspections into Israeli nuke arsenals
IRI Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Ali Asghar Soltanieh described the western double-standard policies against Iranian peaceful energy and Zionist regime’s nuke weapons as a large blow to Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
On the sideline of the Tehran 2-day nuclear disarmament conference which wrapped up on Sunday, Soltanieh told Qodsna that from the viewpoint of public opinion, double-standard policies are doomed to failure and will also undermine the credibility of NPT.
Iran advises IAEA to dispatch a fact-finding committee to Occupied Palestine to inspect Israeli nuclear arsenals, he said, adding, Iran is ready to pay the costs of any such inspections if IAEA was unable to pay them.
The International Conference on “Disarmament and Non-Proliferation” with the motto “Nuclear Energy for All, Nuclear Weapons for None” was held in Tehran on 17-18 April 2010.
