Paraguay ex-FM: Israel should join NPT

Former Paraguay foreign minister said Tehran conference has a strong call for accession of Israel to Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

One the sideline of the Tehran 2-day nuclear disarmament conference which wrapped up on Sunday, Alejandro Hamed Franco told Qodsna that in order to have a nuclear free world, all countries including Israel must sign to NPT.

He lashed out at Zionist regime for using banned weapons including white phosphorus bombs during its last year 22-day war against Gaza.

The International Conference on “Disarmament and Non-Proliferation” with its motto “Nuclear Energy for All, Nuclear Weapons for None” was held in Tehran on 17-18 April 2010.
