Malaysian prof.: ‘Israel’ suffering international isolation
A Malaysian professor told Qudsna that Israeli international stature waned following its 2010 raid on the Gaza war and the Gaza Freedom Fleet which led to deaths of 9 activists.
Speaking on the second anniversary of the Israeli bloody assault on Gaza, Professor Lutpi Ibrahim, a professor in Islamic Studies at the University of Malaya said Israel was currently suffering an international isolation.
Asked about the move of several states in recognizing a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, the professor branded the states as “US supporters,” adding that the states have actually sought to protect the existence of ‘Israel’.
He said two other motivations might also be behind the recognition move. “To show to the world that they are with the peace and to attract the world to Iran or to attack Iran and Lebanon.”
