Interior Minister: Palestinians ready to fend any attack on Gaza

Interior Minister of the Democratic Palestinian government Hamas said Hamas was in full preparation for fending off any new Israeli attack against Gaza, adding however that the relentless Israeli threats against Gaza divulges their aggressive nature and that the enemy must be talked with by the language of force.

Fathi Hamad made the remarks to Qudsna when asked about a new social scheme in Gaza under the banner of dignity of citizens: honor of police. He said the scheme aimed to promote a spirit of integrity among the Gazans during the Israeli carnage in Gaza in 2008 when Gaza people stood against the invaders alongside the police and security forces.

Hamad said the Palestinian resistance formed the forefront of battle of Arab and Islamic nations against the west, adding that the Palestinian secured a dignified status among the other Arab and Islamic nations through their resistance.

Hamad then touched on the massive support of the Palestinians to their elected government, adding that the people deserve all sorts of services by officials.
