Jordanian lawyer forecasts more jubilant Quds ceremonies
A Jordanian lawyer predicated a more jubilany Qods day ceremonies than the previous editions of the International Day on August 26.
Few days ahead to International Quds day, Anis Fowzi Qasem told Qudsna that in light of the current Islamic uprisings in the West Asian and North African countries, the international day would see a much more magnificent ceremonies.
Qasem said the designation of the day by the late Imam Khomeini proved that the Islamic Republic has put support for the Palestinian issue atop its foreign agenda.
He likened the popular uprisings in Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya, and Jordan to the historical uprising of the Iranian people, adding that in both, the people rose up against dictatorship.
The lawyer who chairs Jordanian Legal Assistance Council called Imam Khomeini’s thoughts a model for the regional revolutions.
