Ex-deputy Pak foreign minister: Qods Day broadens hope among Palestinians


A Pak senator called the international Qods day as a historical event which helped revive the Palestinian issue.

Senator Akram Zaki was speaking to Qodsna as the world prepares to stage the 32nd anniversary of the international Qods day, set for August 26.

Asked how the political developments in the Southeast Asia and the North Africa would affect the Palestinian issue, the analyst said no doubt, Imam Khomeini’s thoughts have left its effect on the developments and that Imam Khomeini was seeking to revive the Islamic culture in the world.

The senator said Imam Khomeini revived the Palestinian issue by his designation of the Qods day.

Zaki expressed hope that the world would witness more auspicious Qods ceremonies on August 26, especially in the countries where people have rose up against dictators.
