Conditions paved for IRI representative office in Gaza – senior Iranian MP

Islamic Republic of Iran can be a first country to open an embassy in Gaza, member of Iranian foreign policy commission in the Iranian parliament told Qudsna.

Muhammad Karami Raad added that the grounds were paved for the opening of such an embassy.

He said the innocent Muslims must be promoted amid the existing political pressures, adding that the current political conditions in Egypt and the ouster of Husni Mubarak have changed in favor of the Palestinians, removing any reason for Iran’s non-participation.

In light of the interest of both IRI and Egypt for establishment of ties, we can forecast an Iranian embassy would be opened soon in Gaza, Rad said, adding that the embassy could combine the capacities of Palestinian resistance movements.]
