Turkish ex-lawmaker: Arab Spring made Palestinians more hopeful to meet their aspirations
A former Turkish lawmaker believes that the current Islamic Awakening in the region has made the Palestinians more hopeful to meet their aspirations, adding that the popular uprisings have made the Palestinian nation firmer in their struggle against the occupation and freedom for freedom of their lands.
Mousa Oqlou, member of Saadat party’s central board was speaking to Quds News Agency.
He said the Islamic movements have modeled the Islamic Revolution of Iran, adding that the victory of the Islamic Revolution presented a model to the world Muslim activists.
He noted that many revolutions have taken place in many world countries however none of them could form an Islamic establishment like the Islamic Republic.
Oqlou said Muslims throughout the world could achieve freedom through unity, adding that the Muslim would God willing be witness to freedom of Quds from the claws of occupiers.
“All Muslim nations wish to see an Islamic government form in Palestine,” he added.
