Qassam spokesman: We would not settle for Gaza or West Bank

Palestinian resistance has got more powerful than ever and is ready for military struggle against the Zionist regime in 2012, Abu Obaida, official spokesman of the al-Qassam brigades, the military wing of the Hamas told Qudsna.

The Palestinian resistance “will never trust in the Zionist enemy and is prepared for the worst conditions,” he said, adding that in view of al-Qassam, the Zionist have never showed good intention towards the Palestinian nation and that the occasions where the enemy took a mild gesture, had had ultra motives.

“We in al-Qassam brigades or the mainstream Hamas movement consider there is no effective mood of resistance in driving away the enemy from Palestine but the armed resistance,” the spokesman said.

The spokesman also noted that the formation of government in Gaza does not mean the Palestinians have renounced their rights over other parts of original Palestine. “We would not settle for Gaza or West Bank and even will not forebear an iota of Palestinian land,” he added.

The spokesman said a prospective government to be formed on the 1967 borders would not mean the Palestinians have renounced their right over the rest of Palestine.
