Young Muslim activist: 1979 Islamic Revolution inspired Palestinians

A young Muslim activist believes that the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran has turned into a great model in the world and that the ongoing Islamic Awakening in the Middle East and North Africa was a fruit of the landmark revolution.
Faila Pasic Basic, director of the Slovenia-based Ngo of inter-Cultural Dialogue between East and West, was speaking to Quds News Agency on the sidelines of a major international conference last week on the role and function of young Muslim activists in process of the ongoing Islamic Awakening movement.
She said the Iranian revolution imbued Muslim and Arab nations with a positive energy and motivated them to take a revolutionary action that helped them achieve their goals.
The prominent Slovenia activist thanked the Islamic Republic for the staging of the conference and said the sort of conferences would further motivate the Palestinians.
She also called for unity among Muslim countries and urged for the establishment of a united, robust Islamic government that could firmly stands up to the challenges facing the Islamic ummah.
