IRI historian: Palestinian issue gathers steam across Europe, US

Today, the Palestinian issue has gathered steam across the United States and Europe with the populations there shouting freedom of Palestine, a Prominent IRI historian said Friday.

Hojjatoleslam Sayyed Hamid Rowhani told Qudsna on the sidelines of a major Quds day rallies congratulated the international day to all free men the world over and said the primary target of the day was the late Imam Khomeini’s call for disappearance of Israel from the page of time. “We are now witnessing Imam’s sublime thoughts gradually materializing,” Roqhani said.
 
“Imam wished the nations to wake up following an spread of Islamic Revolution’s aspirations. Thank God, the dream has got materialized and dictator regimes are falling one after another,” the historian said.

Imam Khomeini, Hamid Roqhani said, also wished to see the Palestinian issue turning into a global issue in spite of the colonial powers’ efforts to get the people to forget it. “Today even populations in the United States and Europe are shouting freedom of Palestine,” the historian added.

The historian touched on the western efforts to prevent the spread of Imam Khomeini’s aspirations and thoughts, adding however that the future belongs to the Islamic Ummah and the umah will soon prevail. He said Syria has been targeted by the west as a major loop in the chain of anti-western regional resistance but to no avail thank to the Syrian people’s resistance.
