Member of Palestinian National Council: Palestinains appreciate Imam Khomeini’s support

Palestinian people always appreciate the great Imam Khomeini for his uninterrupted support from oppressed people, a member of Palestinian National Council told Qudsna.

All Palestinians know that Imam Khomeini was the first leader who close Israeli embassy and replace it by Palestinian one, Zuhair Rishad Sanduka said.
 
Asked about the current popular uprisings in the region, he said he was sure, the revolutions in the region including Egypt and Tunisia were inspired by Islamic Revolution of Iran, arguing that all the revolutions were against colonization and imperialism.

Iranian Islamic revolution enlivened the Palestinian people and brought hope among them for struggle against Zionist occupation, he added.

For about four decades, we had bad regimes and dictatorships in the region who collaborated with Zionist regime, but now with the popular uprising we are seeing the collapse of US and Zionist regime’s allies, Sanduka said.

He urged the whole Arab world to get united against US and Zionist regime and expand their ties with Islamic countries especially the Islamic Republic of Iran.
