The 16th member of the Security Council!
Mehdi Azizi: Boutros Ghali, former secretary general of the United Nations, once spoke in office of the significance of media, saying that the Security Council has 16 members; the CNN news network takes the 16 chair.
Actually the former UN chair had tried to reflect the influence of news networks on the global decision making and management of sensitive regions, including the Middle East. Today, we would rather acknowledge that media keep a significant role in the management of international developments and sometimes they could offer solutions to international crises through a bias-free approach.
A double coverage of developments by some media, especially those of poor nations, stem from their dependence on some global political currents who serve the interests of world capital titans through slavery and occupation of other nations.
The bitter reality takes place at time when the low pitch voice of bias free media seems to be lost to the reverberation of deviational propaganda of those giant media. The weak side grows feebler as the bias free media has yet to set a working framework in contrast with the well-thought news guidelines of the biased side.
The shortfall appears large as per the Middle East developments. There are regrets that independent media in the region are still to toe a united track against the smearing assault of biased media which time and again push for changes in international equations through their well-structured professional work.
At present, role of media is far more than mere information work; they actually influence public opinion and hold clout over international decision making process. The reality is truer of Zionist-owned media.
The Zionist-controlled media are trying to manage any regional or global development in the interest of Zionist capital owners and appear ready to breach any moral codes in this path.
I believe that they had a malicious mission in their coverage of developments in Gaza war and in Iran's post-elections unrests.
