Gas deal cut, a major step in Egyptian revolution

Egyptian officials say they have scrapped an agreement to supply ‘Israel’ with natural gas. Israel received around 40% of its gas supplies from Egypt and uses it to generate electricity.

The announcement coming after the cross-border pipeline suffered numerous sabotage attacks actually translate into more failures of Obama's giant policy failures in the Middle East and beyond.

The deal cut also stands as a major step in the Egyptian revolution against the global Zionism as the gas supply deal was an important part of the virtually now-defunct Israeli-Egypt peace accord.

Even though a statement from the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company linked the cut to a breach of the terms of its contract, many consider the deal scarp as another nail in the coffin of the age of American hegemony.

Israel is now watching the situation in shock as Egypt was source of 40 percent of its needed gas. Higher gasoline prices are now sight and the regime ruling the occupied Palestine must ready its forces to counter new waves of demonstrations against bad economic conditions.
