SDPN Secretary General urges OIC Head

Secretary General of the International Union of pro-Palestinian NGOs, Dr. Zahra Mostafavi has denounced the approval of the so-dubbed ‘nation-state’ law in the Israeli parliament was another blot on the dark record of the Zionist regime in racism.
Mostafavi, who also chairs the Palestinian Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN) made the remarks in a letter to the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan who currently chairs the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The secretary general noted that the Israeli measure may never be approved unless the regime received support from the world’s domineering powers, led by the US government.
The letter urges Erdogan as chairman of the OIC to sound the alert in the Islamic community against the Israeli move and take appropriate measures so as to rally Muslims against the Israeli conspiracy.
The text of the letter follows.
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan
The respected President of Turkey and the Chairman of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
You know the Knesset (the Zionist regime’s parliament) ratified a legislating called ‘nation-state law’ on July 20, 2018 after several hours of tense debate. The approval faced major challenges from opponents who made almost half of the parliament and got a weak vote of 62 out of 120 before the opposition tore it up and stashed it as it left another blot on the dark record of the Zionist regime in racist moves.
Mr. President,
The racist legislation is going to strip 1.75 million Palestinian citizens of their rights, especially the right of citizenship and self-determination. Under the law, the Palestinian rights would be ignored right inside their fatherland while the Palestinian land would be given to the Jews and they would be recognized to have a right to self-determination. The legislation would legalize settlement construction and the Judazation of the Quds as well as the confiscation of Palestinian lands and the demolishing of their properties. The racist law actually serves to be a special privilege for a special sect that lacks any authentic identity and seeks to impose its identity and existence over the Palestinian debris.
Mr. President,
The plunderer, criminal Zionists has from the start of their usurping presence in Palestine resorted to various barbaric atrocities in order to advance its domineering and racist goals but the legislation would legalize atrocities and aggressions with more impudence and would help it to dare more occupation and destruction against Palestinians. The law would set the Palestinian fatherland as a solely Jewish state with both eastern and western parts of the Beit-ul Moqaddas as its capital while Hebrew would be recognized as the official language at the cost of the tongue of millions of Arab citizens residing in the occupied territories.
Mr. President,
The legislation - the most racist one in the short and blotted life of the Zionist regime – serves as a sequel to the dark era of Apartheid that blatantly run counter to the international laws and the UN resolutions, especially Resolution 194 that underlines the Palestinian right of return to their land. The legislation would consolidate racism and cement the 70-year dominance of the Zionists on the innocent Palestinians as an extension to the colonial, racist heritage of a usurping regime that runs based on racist and sectarian purge and the removal of the Palestinian Muslim nation as the original residents of the land.
Mr. Erdogan,
The Zionist regime entertains the false dream of legitimizing its 70-year occupation and pillage of the Palestinians however the racist law could never help its legitimization as the Apartheid regime failed to do and collapsed at last.
The heinous legislation undoubtedly cam in the wake of the support of domineering countries who profess to cherish democracy especially Trump’s America. It follows the heinous decision of Trump in transferring the US embassy to Beit ul-Moqaddas and recognize it as the embassy of the Zionist regime. It also follows the humiliating collaboration of the Arab reactionary states especially Saudi Arabia with Israel helped it to imposed the heinous decision on the Muslim and Arab world.
Netanyahu’s remarks that the approval of the law materialized the 122-year vow of Theodor Herzel on the establishment of Jewish nation-state point to the heinous goals that the Zionist regime pursues through the legislation against the innocent Palestinians and the regional Muslim nations. The legislation is somehow a declaration of war by Tel Aviv not only against the Palestinian nation but also against Muslim and free nations. Muslims however would not remain silent and even if international organizations are seeking compromise and peace in the Middle East, the legislation would remove any grounds of peace and compromise and would fan violence and extremism in the region.
Mr. President,
With these realities on the ground, could the international community keep silence?
Aren’t the international community and organizations supposed to take a stance against the blatant violation of the international law and the UN resolutions?
Does not the racist decision bell the ring of death of democracy for the false claimants of democracy?
To answer one may say the 70-year barbaric aggression of Zionists and the 7-year perseverance of the Palestinian nation shows well that oppression could not bring the nation to its knees rather they get more resistant day by day.
It is expected that the chairman of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation who bears the responsibility of defending the cause of Islam (while the philosophy of the organization too is to defend the cause of freedom of Quds) to sound the alert against the Israeli move in the international community and take appropriate measures so as to rally Muslims against the Israeli conspiracy. A first move could be to get Muslims united against the Zionist racism and discrimination.
