Dr. Zahra Mostafawi Met Members of the 40th Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution Commemoration Campaign

On the eve of 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, a group of members of the Islamic Revoliton Commemoration campaign met with Dr. Zahra Mostafawi, daughter of Imam Khomeini.
Brigadier Mohammad Reza Naghdi, cultural deputy director of IRGC, while awarding Dr. Zahra Mostafavi, with a statue said: The statue is given to someone who has been loyal to Imam Khomeini over the last 40 years.
As reported by Qods News Agency (Qodsna), Brigadier Mohammad Rea Naghdi, attended a session to meet with Dr Zahra Mostafawi daughter of the late Imam Khomeini, according to the report Naghdi said: “we look at the Islamic revolution as a rare historic event which changed the path of history and we owe this to the struggles of the late Imam Khomeini.”
He continued: “ever since the prophet’s movements our revolution is the first revolution which has been steady and solid more than 40 years and during all these years we never had slightest shape of surrender.”
Brigadier Naghdi said: “at the beginning of our revolution we had two superpowers on our way, but today after 40 years there is no super power on our path, because the Islamic Revolution is actually the one who dictates its demands to the world.”
He continued: “before our revolution American presidents used to sit in convertible cars and wave at people, and the crowd used to cheer for them. But now they sit in bulletproof cars with large numbers of security forces and still they are not safe.”
Following to the session, Dr. Zahra Mostafavi, chairman and secretary-general of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian Nation said: “Two major factors were effective in winning and continuing the Islamic Revolution; first, the strength and power of people, Second a leader such as Imam Khamenei (PBUH).
She added: “By examining speeches and letters, of Imam Khomeini the researchers realized that the word “unity” was the most used word by Imam Khomeini (PBUH). By this research we can determine that how Unity was important to the founder of the revolution.”
