Iran Leader reacts to US presidential election

In the message that was published on Thursday, the Twitter account of Ayatollah Khamenei wrote: "What a spectacle! One says this is the most fraudulent election in US history. Who says that? The president who is currently in office."

The message went on to say that "his rival says Trump intends to rig the election! This is how #USElections & US democracy are."

The Associated Press reported that Biden had obtained 264 electoral votes to President Donald Trump's 214. A candidate must achieve 270 electoral votes to be declared president. Six states have yet to report a final voting result. The Trump administration has promised to legally challenge the results in some states.

Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania are the four crucial states in the US for winning elections, and winning one or two of the mentioned states is vital for the candidates to win the US Presidential election.

According to The Hill, preliminary estimates indicate that the turnout in the 2020 US presidential election is unprecedented in the last 120 years since 1900.
