Gen. Soleimani prevents US
conspiracies in Iraq, Syria

Speaking with Qods News Agency on the topic of the first anniversary of the assassination of Gen. Qasem Soleimani and his role in the region, representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Naser Abu Sharif said: “One of the main reasons of Gen. Soleimani’s assassination was the fear of the US government and other Western countries from his international impacts.”

Gen. Soleimani put all of his energy to fight Zionist projects in the Middle East, and he successfully could contain them, he added.

“Gen. Soleimani achieved many signs of progress to reinforce the axis of resistance from Palestine to Lebanon. He also dealt with US plans in the region and caused the US defeat in wars in Afghanistan and Iraq," Abu Sharif underlined.

Abu Sharif then talked about the role of Gen. Soleimani in fighting with ISIS, saying “Gen. Soleimani didn’t let the United States to disintegrate Iraq. He did the same in Syria to contain Western conspiracies.”

The Palestinian official also stressed that Gen. Soleimani and Iran Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force had unique roles in fighting against the Zionist regime as well as keeping alive the Palestinian cause. “This is while almost all the Arab countries have ignored resistance approaches in the Palestinian issue over the past decades and improved their relations with the Zionist regime.”
