IRGC Quds Force Commander
Some 'inside US' may avenge Trump-authorized Soleimani assassination

Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says people inside the US may avenge the assassination of top Iranian anti-terror commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
"It is even possible that some people inside your home (the US) ... would respond to your crime (of assassinating General Soleimani," Brigadier General Esmaeil Qa'ani said on Friday.
He made the remarks in an address to a ceremony marking the first anniversary of General Soleimani's martyrdom.
General Qa'ani further warned that after what Americans did, they may now find people "all around the world" who would be ready to punish the "cowards" who committed the crime.
Noting that the US assassinated the top Iranian General at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Israel, General Qaani said, “Those who committed this criminal act should be aware that the world’s freedom-seeking people will one day respond (to this criminal act), and it is even possible that some people inside your home (the US) would respond to their crime”.
He also noted that the path of IRGC Quds Force and the Resistance Front will not change with the US "acts of mischief".
Enemies should know that their acts of mischief will not bring any change to the path of resistance as well as the IRGC Quds force, he added, referring to some suspicious moves by the US military in the region.
The top commander was assassinated along with his senior Iraqi comrade Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and a number of other resistance fighters in a January drone attack, ordered by US President Donald Trump, near Baghdad International Airport.
