The common western view of women entails turning them into commodities & objects

The annual ceremony for the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) is being held in Tehran's Grand Mosalla mosque. A group of eulogists met with the Leader of the Revolution today (Wednesday) February 3, 2021, via videoconference.
The following is an excerpt of the statements His Eminence made in his speech:
"Islam's outlook toward women is based on respect, while the West views women as objects and commodities. In Islam, there's no difference between men and women in terms of divine, human values. We're proud of Islam's viewpoint, whereas we totally object to the Western outlook."
"Western propaganda claims that Islam and Hijab impede women's progress. This is a blatant lie. Throughout history, there has not been any other time when Iranian women were as educated and active in political, social, and other fields as they are after the Islamic Revolution."
"Islam's outlook on women paved the way for emphasizing the pivotal role of family and motherhood since the strongest columns of intellectual/spiritual training are formed in the family. Western propaganda and westernized sets try to underrate/eliminate mothers’ pivotal role in family."
