Hamas chief meets diplomats in Doha, briefs them on recent developments

Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh met with a number of ambassadors in Doha on Snday afternoon and brief them on developments concerning the Palestinian issue.
The top Hamas leader met with Russian envoy to Doha Nurmakhmad Makhmadullaevich Kholov, Turkey’s ambassador Mehmet Mustafa Göksu, Iran’s envoy Hamid Reza Dehghani-Poudeh and South Africa’s ambassador to Qatar Faizel Moosa.
He briefed the ambassadors on developments concerning the Palestinian issue, including the Palestinian parliamentary, presidential and National Council elections scheduled for the coming few months.
Haniyeh also highlighted that challenges and difficulties the Palestinian factions could face on the way to the elections.
The top Hamas leader explained the general situation of the Palestinian issue and the ongoing Israeli threats to the diplomats.
