Shekholeslam bolsters Islamic resistance in Lebanon, Palestine

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the death of Hossein Sheikholeslam, who was a senior pro-Palestinian activist in Iran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, speaker of the Iranian Parliament, described Sheikholeslam as one of the brilliant revolutionary thinkers after the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

“Hossein Sheikholeslam had an accurate and wise knowledge of the cancerous tumor of the Zionist regime. He was committed to confronting to the enmity of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Iranian people and defended the Islamic revolutionary causes,” Qalibaf said.

Qalibaf also called Sheikholeslam a role model and one of the most impressive Iranian diplomats who “employed his diplomatic experience to support the Palestinian Intifada.”

“He reinforced the Islamic resistance in Lebanon specially in the case of Hezbollah which is one of the most significant effects of his diplomatic affairs,” speaker of the Iranian Parliament added.
