Hamas concludes internal vote in Gaza, announces new officials

Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip announced the members of its political bureau on Sunday, and for the first time in its history, Hamas elected two female members in Gaza.

Yahya Sinwar was elected as Hamas’s chief in Gaza and Khalil al-Hayya was elected deputy chief of Hamas in Gaza, according to Hamas's statement.

Also Nizar Awadallah, Mahmoud al-Zahhar, Salah al-Bardawil, Ismail Barhoum, Fatmah Shurrab and Maher Sabra were elected as new members of Hamas's political bureau in Gaza.

A Hamas's delegation will arrive Cairo on Monday to continue national dialogue, a spokeman of Hamas movement said.
