Zionist regime’s occupation demolished 26 Palestinian structures in two weeks, UN finds

The Zionist regime’s occupation authorities have razed or confiscated 26 Palestinian properties in the occupied West Bank over the past two weeks, a UN report has found.

In its “Protection of Civilians” report covering the period between 16-29 March, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that such demolitions led to the displacement of 34 Palestinian citizens, including 15 children, and affected nearly 40 others.

According to the report, a 45-year-old Palestinian man was shot dead by Zionist regime’s occupation troops during a popular, weekly demonstration in Beit Dajan village near Nablus, raising the number of Palestinians martyred by Zionist regime’s occupation forces in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of this year to three.

Zionist regime’s occupation forces shot and wounded ten more citizens while violently suppressing popular, peaceful protests in the occupied West Bank.

Over the last couple of weeks, Zionist regime’s occupation troops shot and wounded 53 Palestinian citizens during raids across the occupied West Bank.

The UN report pointed out that Zionist regime’s occupation forces conducted 128 arrest campaigns in the occupied West Bank, detaining 115 Palestinian citizens.

Zionist settlers attacked Palestinian citizens, injuring a number of them, and destroyed hundreds of trees in the occupied West Bank.

Zionist regime’s occupation forces opened fire at Palestinians near Gaza’s separation fence or off the coast of the besieged enclave on 17 occasions at least in a bid to impose restrictions on the Palestinians’ movement.

On two other occasions, Zionist regime’s occupation army bulldozers razed chunks of Palestinian land near the eastern separation fence of the Gaza Strip.

Zionist regime’s occupation warplanes launched a series of aerial attacks on Palestinian resistance sites in the Gaza Strip, causing partial damage to nearby homes and structures.
