Palestinians more confident than
before against Zionist regime

Masih Mohajeri
Qodsna (Tehran) - In an exclusive interview with Qodsn News Agency on Monday, Masih Mohajeri, Editor in chief of The Jomhouri-ye Eslami (Islamic Republic) newspaper talked about the importance of International Quds Day and its effect on the Palestinian issue.
“Imam Khomeini believed that the unity between Muslim nations would liberate Palestine from the occupation of Zionists. Naturally, such unity must be relied on defensive and offensive power, meaning that the defensive power is used against the armed invasion of the occupiers, and the offensive power is used for crushing the occupying forces,” Mohajeri said.
“On the other hand, Western powers need Israel to protect their regional interests, and consequently, provide the Zionist regime with military aids,” he added.
Talking about previous Palestinian intifadas, Mohajeri noted that the Palestinian people were relied on hurling stones in the past, but now, they are equipped with advanced missiles and rockets. “Their self-confidence now has increased compared to the past.”
He also talked about the normalization deal between the Zionist regime and the UAE, saying that “the UAE betrayed to Islamic values. Muslims have a duty of helping their brothers in other countries in case of facing an occupier power, but Emirate rulers acted the opposite. They supported the Zionist regime instead of helping the oppressed Palestinian people. This is a betrayal to the Palestinian cause.”
