Palestinians hold Eid al-Fitr prayers in Al-Aqsa mosque

Over 100,000 Palestinian Muslim worshippers today attended Eid al-Fitr prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.  

Violence has erupted in recent days amid protests in East Al-Quds over possible evictions of Palestinian families from Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood. Clashes that began at the Al-Aqsa compound escalated into an exchange of rockets between the Gaza resistance groups and Zionist regime.
