Resistance axis has upper hand
against Zionist regime

Ahmad Dastmalchian

Tehran (Qodsna) - Speaking with Qods News Agency on the ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian resistance groups, Ahmad Dastmalchian, the former Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, has said that during the latest round of conflicts “the resistance axis had the upper hand, as it was the Zionist regime that demanded a ceasefire.”

“If the Zionist regime dares to attack Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood once again, Palestinian resistance groups, especially Hamas movement, will react in an appropriate manner,” he added.

This is a unilateral ceasefire for the Zionist regime that was implemented with the help of Egypt, the US and some other states, Dastmalchian said, noting that it was the resistance movements that determined the end of the war.

“The recent conflicts were valuable because the Zionist regime had always tried to divide Arab individuals in territories occupied in 1948 from Palestinians. But we saw that Palestinians across the occupied territories and Gaza are unified. It was encouraging to see the rise of Palestinian youths against Israel,” Ahmad Dastmalchian stressed.

“It is worthy to note that the Zionist regime was not able to maintain its security, as it had the military edge against Arab states years ago,” Iranian political expert said.
