Palestine’s national football team advances by three positions on FIFA rankings
Palestine’s national football team has ranked 99 on the FIFA world rankings list, up from 102 registered during the last reporting period on the same list.
Last June, the Palestinian national team beat Singapore 4-0 and Yemen 3-0 at the end of the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the 2023 Asian Cup in China, during which the team ranked third with 10 points.
The national team also beat Comoros 5-1 in June, securing a place in the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar, where it will face Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
