Hojat-ol-Islam Akhtari to lead Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People

Tehran (Qodsna) - Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi in a decree appointed Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari as the chairman of the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People.

In a published statement, Ebrahim Raisi asked Mohammad Hassan Akhtari to have “comprehensive support for the resistance and the rights of the oppressed, brave and hero people of Palestine.”

Mohammad Hassan Akhtari was born in the city of Sorkheh in Semnan province.

In addition to studying the Principles of Jurisprudence, he studied at Imam Musa Sadr University in Lebanon. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Abul Nour University and the Arab Writers' Union.

In recent years, he has been a member of the Supreme Council of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly (ABWA), the head of the ideological and political wing of the Iran’s Navy forces, the Friday prayer leader of Semnan, the parliamentary deputy of the Ministry of Jihad of Construction, the director of the Voice of Iran Radio, the Iranian ambassador to Syria and Vice President for International Affairs Office of the Iran’s Leader.
